The presenter Jennifer Bell was a photography teacher and presented tools about photography to be integrated into classes. On Jennifer's blog, she list several links:
Photography Unlimited, Apple Tree Sample, Abstract Concepts, 101 Photography, Photo, Rubric, Penny Cleaning Activity, Meet the Teacher, Math Ideas, Geometry Rubric, Geometry Class Book,CameraPass, All About Me, 5 Senses. My favorite resource she gave on her blog was a list of 101 creative photography projects (see attachment below). As for other resources on her blog, it was kind of lacking. Only the information about the conference was the most substancial information.

The presentor for this presentation had a link to his blog on his handout (link above). I really enjoyed the websites that he gave on his blog. The information on the blog presented a lot of visual websites that would be great in an art classroom. Many of the ideas are photography and technology based. Some new websites I found were http://ipiccy.com/, http://alphabetimals.com/, and http://dearphotograph.com/.
Engaging Students' Imaginations and Interest with Digital Images -
When using tools in the classroom to engage students' imaginations and interest with digital images, teachers have to keep in mind being flexible is key.
Teachers must be flexible means of representation, flexible means of expression, and flexible means of engagement. When using technology in the clasroom, you allow lessons to be differentiate enabling students to become more engaged in everyday lessons.
Add 3D Power to your Lessons Using Document Cameras -
In the document link to the presentation, "Add 3D Power to your Lessons Using Document Cameras," presentor, Laura Sheehy attached 50 different uses for a document camera in a classroom. Since I have a document camera in my classroom and love using it, I am always looking for better uses for it than demonstrating for my art lessons. Laura states that document cameras are more than just a fancy overhead projector. Some of my favorite new uses for the document camera include using as time lapse capture, display textures, mystery item – have students guess what it is, use slow reveal, split screen to show before and after, and
label parts.
The session titled Communicate, Collaborate, and Contribute was a great session that really emphasized the idea of Personal Learning Networks. PLN’s are a great tool to stay up to date on new lesion and teaching techniques. This session and included in the handout shows many different resources to receive and contribute to new educational ideas. I really liked the Chinese proverb she used to relate to technology conversations. “A single conversation across the table with a wise person is worth a month's study of books” The presenter interpreted it as, “Many conversations across the “Internet” with wise people is worth a year’s study of books” The link below has some great websites on how to begin to communicate, collaborate, and contribute to a PLN.
